How to Install eclipse-rcp software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

eclipse-rcp software package provides Eclipse Rich Client Platform (RCP), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install eclipse-rcp

eclipse-rcp is installed in your system.

Make ensure the eclipse-rcp package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep eclipse-rcp *

You will get with eclipse-rcp package name, version, architecture and description in a table
